Isolation and purification of type I collagen fibers derived from animals—

 

  • Involves sequential extraction of non-collagenous materials from the tissue
  • Purified type I collagen fibers are then disintegrated and reconstituted to collagen fibers that can be engineered

Proprietary natural anorganic bone mineral process in which the cancellous and cortical bone is deproteinated to
remove organic components.

 

Resulting calcium phosphate particulate is used in bone grafting, particularly in dental applications.
